One
Day Churches are springing up rapidly in Malawi. It’s exciting to see the enthusiasm
of the church members, some who’ve already made bricks to complete the new
building before we arrive to put up the One Day Church. I’d like to share some
pictures Dave snapped early on of a One Day Church going
up over the course of the day. Most of
the guys working on the crews had never worked with construction in the past.
This was all new to them but they’re catching on. Notice the smiles on the
faces of the church members watching or helping cook food for the workers. In front of their very eyes God
is doing something extra special for their church! Thankful hearts respond with praise and
joy.

| I have just recently received the long awaited e-mail telling and showing where the church that God has used me to help build in Mazira, Malawi. I feel so blessed and am filled with such joy to see the smiles and waves of my brothers and sisters in Christ that God has so blessed me to be able to help to have a permenant church building. The only thing better would be to be able to there in person. Some day, God willing, I will meet them. If not in Malawi, then with Jesus in heaven. Thank you Maranatha for giving me this opportunity and for all you do for His Kingdom. May the Light of Christ shine on you always.
Your brother in Christ, and His servant, James |
