2010 Project:  Mexico – July 13-26, 2010

Project Scope:
Maranatha’s Ultimate Workout for teenagers ages 14 to 18 will be held in Chiapas, Mexico July 13-26, 2010. Some 175 to 200 young people and staff will meet in Tuxtla Gutierrez, Mexico and then separate into six groups. Each group will construct a church, conduct children’s ministry programs and impact their community in a variety of ways. Medical teams will also serve for short terms at several of the sites.

The cost for this two-week mission trip is $795 plus the cost of a round-trip ticket to Tuxtla Gutierrez, Mexico (airport code TGZ). The fee includes food, local transportation, an excursion, T-shirt, a new Bible, construction fees, emergency medical insurance and more for this unforgettable and potentially life-changing experience.

Young people from all over the United States, Canada and beyond will put themselves on the line to live in challenging and different environments than what they probably consider to be “normal” at home. Most of the UW sites will be in simple, primitive villages. Our groups will bring air mattresses for sleeping, and they will live in camping conditions.

The work of God continues to be very dynamic in Mexico. Participants will find their faith stretched, and they will be challenged to live on the edge for Jesus not only in Mexico, but also when they return home.

Ultimate Workout 20 is finished, but you can read about it on our Facebook page or Dick Duerksen's blog.
